Charcoal and tea tree oil is the perfect pair for a purifying soap. Activated charcoal is well known for its ability to absorb and draw out toxins, impurities, and excess oil from the skin. It also helps to remove dead skin cells that stay on the top layer of skin making it look dull. One of the most popular essential oils, widely known for its antibacterial properties, is tea tree oil. It has antimicrobic components, helping to reduce dry and itchy skin. It helps the natural regeneration processes of the skin, so that the skin heals faster and its general condition improves.
Perfect to use on oily, dirty skin as a hand soap, as a body wash, or as a facial wash. Keep in mind: if you have dry skin, activated charcoal may be a little bit too drying.
After using the soap, don’t forget to nourish your skin with a body lotion or a solid body butter.

I have extremely dry sensitive skin and most soaps leave my itchy but this has been brilliant. I have been using this along with the It’s Thyme (OMG LOVE!) and washed my hair a couple of times with Grandma’s shampoo (Love too!). Using all 3, I cannot believe how great my skin feels in just one week. Thank you so much.
Of course, I bought because of the ethos, I love the attention to detail in the packaging. When it arrived and I opened the box, OMG the smell was just divine. Also great customer service as I was nervous with delivery with this whole Brexit thing but it arrived no problem in about a week to Ireland which is fast these days here.
Thanks so much Vaiva x

It’s great. The only problem I have with this is, that it’s oviously black and very charcoal-y so it leaves black marks all over my white bathtub, sink and bathroom walls. Those stripes can simply be washed off with water, but it’s just a thing to be aware of before purchasing this soap.
